After you download a Windows 10 app on your PC, you will need to login to Windows with Microsoft Account password. If you enjoy the previous local account login without password, here is the steps to switch back.
Start Menu - Settings - Accounts
on the Your email and accounts tab, click Sign in with a local account instead.
Leave the password box empty for the local account during the process.
